ABB’s reliable solutions feed the growing appetite of F&B customers in Indonesia
2018-02-05 - Food & Beverage Customer Day in Indonesia focuses on reliable solutions for a sustainable food future.
ABB held a day-long conference for its food and beverage (F&B) customers presenting an exciting line-up of its integrated technology portfolio for the industry. Nearly 150 participants comprising food and beverage makers from various companies attended the event hosted at the Shangri-La Hotel in Jakarta on January 23, 2018. Apart from conducting short seminars, ABB also showcased a mini exhibition that comprised a wide-range of reliable solutions to help F&B manufacturers overcome their business challenges throughout the complete production process.
Mohammed Farahneh, Sales and Marketing Director for Food and Beverage, ABB in Middle East & Africa opened the general session talking about the need for productivity and efficiency improvement in the F&B industry. The session also covered other topics of discussion such as digitalizing F&B processes, microgrid solutions as a sustainable and reliable energy source, power protection and food process safety.
Gernut van Laak, ABB’s Global F&B Solutions Manager shared insights into F&B plant assessment to improve production efficiency.
Replicating the popular concept from ABB’s previous F&B Customer Day held in Semarang last year, breakout sessions were organized that sought to further explain what ABB can offer to help sharpen quality and manufacturing flexibility. The sessions were divided into two big themes – Digitalization and Energy Efficiency – so that the customers could opt for a more focused discussion based on their main business goals.
