PowerValue 11 RT comes in five different models from 1 to 10 kVA. The units of the higher-power model (6 and 10 kVA) can be configured in parallel to provide redundancy or to increase the system’s total capacity to 20 kVA. All models can be fitted with up to four battery modules to extend runtime. The higher-power models have a large integrated charger included - this not only gives more flexibility in extending the runtime of the units but it also shortens battery recharge time, thus increasing system availability and reliability, the two most critical parameters of any UPS.
PowerValue 11 RT has been designed to be extremely compact and can be used in tower format or rack-mounted. Serviceability is additionally enhanced by easily replaceable batteries, scalable battery runtimes and the start-up and standard onsite warranty services included.
“PowerValue 11 RT is a great fit within our overall portfolio, serving the growing demand for compact, reliable and convenient UPS systems that deliver high performance at an attractive price” said Rainer Weigle, senior vice president, ABB Power Protection product group, “it will help us continue to serve the large base of customers that requires an easily managed and reliable power protection infrastructure for small IT environments.”
As well as maintaining power to the servers, point-of-sale terminals, workstation clusters, routers, switches, hubs and sensitive electronic equipment, PowerValue 11 RT UPS will also condition incoming power to eliminate spikes, swells, sags, noise and harmonics.
