Newly established business unit:Power Systems Automation and Communications in Indonesia

2015-01-30 - In Indonesia, ABB has been actively working together with utility and industry in providing advanced energy management, automation and communications solutions to improve the reliability and efficiency of electricity systems. Those solutions based on different platforms has enabled various customers to monitor and control their plants and networks on real time basis. Integrated solution based on IEC 61850, have assisted utility to optimize network at many substations in Indonesia, by bringing open, interoperable systems and flexible architecture to the substation automatic domain and making a step stone towards smart grid which will be more efficient and environmental friendly.

To provide a much more focused approach in providing the solution for customers in Indonesia, we are proud to introduce our newly established and dedicated business unit in Indonesia: Power Systems Automation and Communications. The business unit will focus on providing various applications for power network, that will help bridge the gap between operations technology and IT, and provide complete solutions for asset-intensive industries from a single expert supplier.
