2017-03-09 - OEMs and panel builders are today the most important channel for the third party business of medium voltage (MV) protection and control and they are a key element of the channel strategy of the business globally. OEMs and panel builders contributed as much as 50% of the business with channel partners in 2016.
In a short interview with Nicole Koeppen, Channel Manager for the ABB OEM Medium Voltage business, she explains some success factors of the fruitful and expanding business with ABB’s partners. “ABB Medium Voltage business focuses on demand creation and especially on homologations and product approvals in the key market segments. This enables our OEM and panel builder partners to use ABB products in their switchgear and panel offerings based on the latest available ABB technology”, Nicole Koeppen explains.
