ABB wins ‘Best Stall’ award at ELASIA 2013

2013-01-11 - Solutions-based offerings attract many visitors at the first paper-free event of ABB in India

ABB participated in the 5th ELASIA 2013 at Bangalore International Exhibition Center (BIEC), Bangalore, between January 04-06, 2013 as platinum sponsors. ABB displayed its low voltage switchgear portfolio through a live exhibiting stand of 90 square meters, which consisted of segment-wise exhibit panels, live product demos, KNX living room automation with live demo automation and technical paper presentations on ‘Innovative and reliable systems in Low Voltage (LV) Networks’. It was an ideal platform, where

major players from electrical industries like switchgear, lighting, cables and solutions for renewable energy displayed their products and solutions. The key visitors at the exhibition were end users, builder, architects, OEMs, consultants, distributors, suppliers and manufacturers.

ABB’s Low Voltage Products (LP) division used the event as a springboard to launch a new range of System Pro solutions and iPDU solutions for data centers. The launch was inaugurated by A Gopal Rao, President, ELCA and other members of ELCA. ABB took another step in the right direction by making this a paperless event, thus, demonstrating firm commitment to the environment.

The ABB stall’s USP lay in the segment-based solution, that took our offerings to the next level from merely product display. This shift in focus created lively interest in customers and ELCA members alike, many of whom voiced their appreciation. Live demonstration of communication features enhanced customer confidence in ABB solutions.

ABB’s Discrete Automation and Motion (DM) division joined hands with the LP division to demonstrate a holistic approach
in providing comprehensive communication solutions. Safety being a core value of ABB, the LP division provided the complete range in safety solution for the event. A perfectly coordinated solution to protect against arc flash hazards was on display as were other products such as the complete range of wiring accessories and power distribution equipment. The ‘Measure to save’, initiative comprised the complete portfolio of energy monitoring and management solutions. The unifying theme for the ABB exhibition booth at this event was ‘Make your buildings smarter. Monitor, Control and Optimize for maximum efficiency and comfort.’ Bazmi Husain, Country Manager and Managing Director, India, and Tommy Andreasson, President, Low Voltage Product division, India, were the guests of honor at the event.
