World's first range of lE4 induction motors at iFaME

2013-05-02 - iFaME (International Facility Management Expo 2013) is a platform to showcase products in facility management with professionals who want to further their knowledge of their discipline and build contacts within the industry through a combination of exhibitions and conferences.
ABB will be participating in the three-days exhibition to introduce two new products, the IE4 induction motors and the ACS880 single drive series.

The world’s first range of low voltage IE4 (International Efficiency Class 4) motors, first launched during Hannover Fair in Germany, will be introduced to Singapore. Based on ABB’s robust and well-proven induction motor platform, the new motors are already available with short delivery times. The super premium efficiency (IE4) motors deliver the highest efficiency and reliability, enabling motor users to optimize the cost of ownership.

The IE4 motors cover 75 – 375 kW in frame sizes 280 – 355. They are available for 400 V 50 Hz and 440/460 V 60 Hz, in 2-, 4- and 6-pole versions, and they complement ABB’s comprehensive range of low voltage motors for both safe and hazardous areas.
The ACS880 single drives series are built on an all-compatible drives architecture designed to provide customers across industries and applications with unprecedented levels of compatibility, flexibility and ease of use. They can be customized to the precise needs of industries to control a wide range of applications such as cranes, extruders, winches, winders, conveyors, mixers, compressors, pumps and fans.
