ABB retains world-class ranking in Dow Jones Sustainability Index

2014-09-12 - For the sixth consecutive year ABB has been rated as a world class performer by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), one of the leading sustainability ratings agencies.
The DJSI follows a best-in-class approach, including companies across all industries that outperform their peers in numerous sustainability metrics covering economic, environmental, social and governance performance.

ABB appears in both the DJSI World and European Indices in the Machinery and Electrical Equipment sector.

“The DJSI is one external indicator to customers, investors and other stakeholders of a company’s sustainable business performance. A sound approach to sustainability as part of how a company does business is no longer something that is ‘nice to have’, but is something expected by customers, funders and investors and society in general,” said Adam Roscoe, head of Sustainability Affairs for ABB Group.
