“ABB for years has helped customers improve equipment and process performance through advanced services that identify, categorize and prioritize issues using digital data gathering and analysis,” said Dan Duncan, vice president of sales and operations for ABB Process Automation Service. “Productivity Packs are bundles of our most popular advanced services to make it even easier for customers to apply these services to improve operational efficiency.”
The ABB Resilience Pack combines Cyber Security Monitoring, Security Update, and System 800xA Performance services. This group of services compiles and analyzes system data to resolve security gaps, validates Microsoft security updates for relevance and compatibility, and evaluates performance trends to predict and prevent control system performance degradation. These services are available to any customer using the ABB 800xA control system.
The ABB Reliability Pack enables customers to correct and sustain the performance of any automated process or control system by applying Loop Performance Monitoring and Loop Tuning Accelerator Services. This package pinpoints potential control loop performance issues, so that corrective tuning can be expedited to ensure full control system utilization. This pack is available to any customer using PID control loops to control their production process.
The ABB Runnability Pack combines Quality Control System Performance and Transition Services to improve the efficiency of paper production by classifying and prioritizing opportunities to improve measurement accuracy, reduce product profile variability, and tighten product transitions. The Runnability Pack is available to pulp and paper customers who use ABB Quality Control Systems to control their process.
All ABB Productivity Pack services are powered by ABB ServicePort, a secure, remote-enabled service delivery platform that facilitates automatic data gathering, analysis and application. ServicePort converts data into Key Performance Indicators that help customers identify, categorize and prioritize actions to improve resilience, reliability and runnability. ServicePort is used by customers and ABB service people to deliver advanced services locally, and is a secure platform for remote-enabled ability to address issues.
