The training was planned to update the team on PCM600, IET600 and ITT600 tools, and product presentations for IED670 2.1 and new REB500. The training was attended by 5 employees from MATALEC who were also given demos and practical exercises for a thorough understanding of the updates. It also showed the team how the improved functionality and the new tool version can help with more efficient and faster engineering.
Speaking of the event, Svempa Löfgren, ECP Business Development Manager - Substation Automation Products said, “Visiting channel partners and providing training in their premises allows us to go that extra mile in customizing our content to the need of the audience. It was also great to see MATALEC excited about the new features and supporting them with the hands-on training needed. We are sure this will be beneficial to both ABB and MATALEC.
As the way forward, ABB is keen on continuing to provide its channel partners with forums to share knowledge and help optimize usage of their products.
