About the speaker: S L Lim is the Assistant Vice President for Marketing in ABB in South Asia Region. Er Lim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Strathclyde in UK. He is a Professional Engineer in electrical engineering and has been with ABB for over 29 years. Er Lim is involved in the development of Standards and Conformance and is also Chairman of the SAC’s Technical Committee for Electrical testing and Technical Committee 17 for switchgears, under Singapore’s Standards Council. Er Lim also represents Singapore in IEC TC 17D for Switchgear and Controlfear.

About the speaker: Dr. Fun Wey, CEO of Affineon Technologies. Prior to obtaining his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from M.I.T. (USA) in 1995 with a government scholarship, Dr Fun Wey had also been trained in mechanical engineering and computer science. His working experience includes industrialautomation, military robotics, biomedical devices, video gaming and software development. He is the founder of Affineon Technologies, a provider of optimal optical tracking solutions. The technology behind PathTracer3D was developed with the support of a SPRING's TECS grant from the Singapore government.

He has been in In (International) heavy machinery sales for over 10 years and is responsible for Global sales in advanced robotics for the non-repetitive industry in applications such as welding, cutting, marking, grinding, edge preparation for shipbuilding, offshore, structural steel building, truck and trailer. and specials. He also conducts training to educate colleagues and customers in not only the machinery, but also the total logistics and flow shop solutions.
